What effectiveness standard is the CleanPhone™ tested against?



Every CleanPhone™ device is tested against the ASTM E1153 standard, which is the same standard used by chemical disinfectant wipes for Inanimate, Hard, Nonporous Non-Food Contact Surfaces.

What do I do if my device breaks?



Sometimes accidents happen! Each device comes with a limited warranty and provides the option to purchase an extended warranty. If your machine is not under warranty, please contact us and we’ll find a way to make it right.

What if one of the lamps burns out?



The Lamps used in the CleanPhone™ device have a useful life of about 5 years, and are easy to replace. If your machine is not under warranty, please contact us and we’ll find a way to make it right.

Can my phone get stuck?



Although extremely rare, in the event the elevator that re-surfaces your phone gets stuck there’s an easy way to get your phone out. A simple ejection handle is available on the back right side of the device to manually lift the device out of the machine.

How do I maintain the CleanPhone device?



The CleanPhone™ device requires minimal maintenance once it is set up. The UV-C bulbs have a useful life of about 3 years, and the sanitation chamber should be cleaned once every 200-300 cleanings. If there is dirt or grime that ends up inside of the device, it should be cleaned before further use.

What happens if someone puts something gross inside the sanitation device?



Glissner™ products are built with this in mind. They are easy to open and maintain with a digital key.

Can I keep the case on my phone?



Yes you can! Most of the viruses and bacteria on our hands get passed to our phone cases, so it is important to sanitize the phone as you typically use it. CleanPhone™ does not work with dangling or non-standard -shaped case accessories.

How do I know that my phone has been cleaned?



CleanPhone™ devices are tested against rigorous germicidal effectiveness standards before being delivered. They show an error message when something’s not right and will not allow the device to operate until the error is resolved. If the device is working, rest assured that your phone is coming out 99.99% virus and germ-free.

How does CleanPhone™ work?



Simply place your phone in the top entry slot, and watch it descend into the sanitation chamber. On the device screen you’ll be told to clean your hands while your phone is being sanitized. Inside, several specialized UV-C lights gently but effectively destroy 99.999% of germs. Your phone will emerge after a 20-second sanitation cycle. Grab it with clean hands, and go!
